This page is for existing BNB u3a members to allow renewal of membership for another year. This is normally done around February/March each year. IF YOU ARE A NEW MEMBER AND WISH TO JOIN, PLEASE GO TO THE 'JOIN US' PAGE

YOU WILL BE ABLE TO PAY YOUR SUBSCRIPTION EITHER BY CARD OR CHOOSE TO PAY BY CASH OR CHEQUE - SEE BELOW.

MEMBERSHIP SUBSCRIPTION FEES

The membership year for current members commences 1st April and is renewable each year.

Annual Membership fees are required to help pay towards the costs of providing the organisation events, magazine etc., although additional fees may be required towards the costs of attending at specific venues for group activities. The following gives a guide on the current level of membership fees for 2026/27. These will be required to be paid by the end of March 2026 for renewal of current membership.

Standard Membership Renewal- Singles	£15
Standard Membership Renewal - Couples	£28
Associate Membership Renewal - For members of other U3A’s (e.g. Coventry, Hinckley)	£10 (£18 for couples)

HOW TO RENEW YOUR MEMBERSHIP

There are two ways to renew your membership:

1. ONLINE RENEWAL - please go straight to the Renewal Form below. If you need to change any of your contact details, please inform the Membership Secretary as soon as possible.
   • COUPLES: Only one partner needs to register online and/or pay for both, and the system will recognise the 2nd partner and update their membership automatically.
   • When the Renewal Form is displayed, select the required membership option and and enter your details in the form on this page.
   • You then have a choice on how to pay the subscription fee. If you choose 'Pay by Card' the card details block will appear and you can then proceed to the payment completion.
   • Once your payment has been registered you will be sent a receipt, from Paypal and from the website if you paid online or just from the website if your payment was registered manually.

GIFT AID REGISTRATION

If your Gift Aid status has changed (e.g. you no longer pay Income Tax that can cover your membership subscription), you. MUST let us know so that we can amend the records. . More information about the Gift Aid scheme is available in the 'Additional Information' page

PRIVACY AND DATA PROTECTION

The information that you enter on the renewal form should be exactly the same as recorded in our system, to avoid creation of (nearly) duplicate records. The data will only be used to provide you with updates and personalised information relating to BNB U3A activities and events. Your privacy is important to us! TERMS & CONDITIONS OF MEMBERSHIP

By completing the Renewal form you agree to continue to abide by the Terms and Conditions of membership, as detailed in the Additional Information page.

When you have registered your details by completing the form , if paying by Card you will see a field to enter the card details below the form before selecting the 'Proceed to Payment button.

2. POSTAL RENEWAL

If you choose 'Pay by cheque or Cash' you can still register online and pay either by sending a cheque to the Membership Secretary or giving a cash payment via a Group Leader or the Treasurer. If you do this please put your payment in an envelope with your name and address on the front so that the payment can be tracked. This helps with Administration if you register online first. Further Instructions on this are provided when this option is chosen.

Paper Renewal reminders will be posted out, only on request, to existing members during February/March each year for those with no email address only. There are details on the form about how to send payment and the form.

NOTE: EVEN IF YOU RECEIVE A POSTAL REMINDER AND/OR DO NOT WISH TO PAY YOUR RENEWAL ONLINE, PLEASE REGISTER ONLINE USING THE FORM LINK ON THIS PAGE AND SELECT THE 'PAY BY CASH/CHEQUE' OPTION TO REGISTER YOUR DETAILS AND YOUR INTENTION TO RENEW. THIS SIMPLIFIES THE ADMIN REQUIRED TO PROCESS YOUR PAYMENT.
