Membership – Couples
The BNB U3A is open to all who are not in full-time employment. There is no minimum age, although most members not in full time employment are over 50! THIS FORM IS FOR COUPLES JOINING BNBU3A FOR THE FIRST TIME. THE MAIN MEMBERSHIP PAGE FOR ALL OTHER SITUATIONS IS HERE
MEMBERSHIP SUBSCRIPTION FEES
The membership year commences 1st April and is renewable each year.
Annual Membership fees are required to help pay towards the costs of providing the organisation events, magazine etc., although additional fees may be required towards the costs of attending at specific venues for group activities. The following gives a guide on the current level of membership fees for 2024/25 for couples. These are required to be paid by the end of March 2024 for renewal of current membership (SEE NOTE OPPOSITE ABOUT REGISTRATION/RENEWAL FOR 2024-25):

| For couples who are members of other U3A’s (e.g. Coventry, Hinckley) | £18 |
If you join for the first time from 1st January 2024 or the following year, the annual fee of £10/£18 stands but will cover membership through to the next year end, ie. it will cover up to 15 months membership.
HOW TO JOIN OR RENEW YOUR MEMBERSHIP
NEW MEMBERS – Postal Application – Download the New Member Application 2024-25, print and complete it and post it, with the appropriate subscription amount as a cheque or cash, to our Membership contact, at the address given in the form.
NEW MEMBERS – Online Application – The first partner should complete the form and payment, and then go back to this page and complete the details for the second partner. The membership fee is halved for each partner so that we can register both partners properly. Once registered for the first time, couples will be able to use the main renewal form for one partner only, and the membership for the other partner will be automatically renewed.

GIFT AID REGISTRATION
As we are a registered Charity we are able to claim Tax refunds under the Gift Aid scheme. Using Gift Aid means that we get an extra 25% from the Inland Revenue as a Tax Refund, helping your subscription payment go further. In order register under the Gift Aid scheme you must tick the box in the form to indicate you agree with the conditions specified in the form regarding Tax liability.
Once you have joined BNB U3A, you will receive our monthly Newsletter, and be able to join our various Special Interest Groups, as given on the ‘Groups’ page, and join in our monthly meetings (currently held via video)
