Welcome to BNB u3a
Finished working full-time? Are you living in the Bulkington, Nuneaton or Bedworth area? Join our u3a with our Interest Groups, Cultural Activities, Social Groups and Educational Talks!
The U3A is an International movement that was set up to bring people who have finished working full-time or raising a family and have time to pursue your interests or just try something new. It is aimed at gently continuing learning in a friendly and informal environment. For more details about the national u3a movement, go to https://u3a.org.uk
Such a U3A association was set up in Nuneaton, Bulkington, and Bedworth (BNB) about 15 years ago and in that time has set up over 20 courses, interest groups, craft courses and social activities. The aim was to find people who want to come together to continue their educational, social and creative interests in a friendly and informal environment.

The current interest groups, cultural activities and social functions that are served by the BNB U3A include: Rambling, Book Club, Ukulele, Poetry Reading, Family History, Art, Patchwork and Quilting, Computer Group, Bridge, Social Events, Poetry , and more planned in the immediate future.
Have a look at the Group pages on this site for more details.
The groups are open to all and if you would like to join us then come along to a session or contact anyone on the committee.
If an activity is not catered for, why not start up your own group? It’s easy to do and the committee will help you. There are also a number of online interest groups available nationally for those interested in other subjects and/or those who have mobility issues.
We welcome Speakers to our Monthly Meetings, if you have something to contribute please email our Speakers Sec via the Contact page.
Meetings are held at Bulkington Community Centre,
The governance of the BNB U3A is transparent with meeting dates and agenda published on the web-site along with minutes of the meetings a few weeks later. Members are encouraged to attend, where they can raise any issues.
Go to the Membership Info page for more information about joining or renewing your membership.
