The National Gas Museum tells the story of the domestic and industrial use of gas.
There are about 500 exhibits on display from the early gas appliances built in the 1800s to Gas Radios, Gas Irons, Gas hair dryers and much more.
Find out was produced from coal, and remember some of the smells and sounds of gas appliances.
The National Gas Museum has been closed recently for refurbishment and will have just reopened. There is a car park, and it can be reached by using the Enderby Park and ride bus services. Its unmistakable tower makes it easy to find.
